The Search4ICD method is used to search for ICD-10 codes within the grouper's permitted and used ICD space.
Consequently, if an ICD code outside this permitted set is used in IValidateTMA::AddACFBase, it is rejected

Since the ICD code set has a large search space, it is advisable to first search for a main trigger service and then include the corresponding chapter affiliation in the ICD code search.

[in] DATE dDate The date to use for the query. Valid (and returned) records must have a validity date range that does include the given date!
